Jessica and Karl celebrated their wedding at the Red Lion Hotel in Henley on Thames Oxfordshire. The former 15th-century coaching inn is a fantastic venue for a wedding. Being at the heart of Henley, literally a stone’s throw from the river mean’t we had many varied locations to photograph the bride and groom and their party of guests.

As ever with my job, I throughly enjoyed  photographing Jessica and Carl’s wedding.  Photographing the couple’s friends and family, capturing moments as the day unfolded will ensure Jessica and Carl will be able to treasure moments from their wedding forever.

I am now looking forward to creating a very special wedding album for the happy couple.

A set of wedding photos is incomplete without the obligatory photograph of all the wedding party, it’s probably one of the few times that all your family and friends are together at the same time.

I wear out a lot of trousers out at the knees when photographing weddings, a lot of times during the special day I am either kneeling or even lying down to capturing memorable photos of the bride and groom and their ceremony.

Selfies are a great opportunity for me to capture photographs of guests at a wedding reception, they rarely notice me when I am taking their photos which makes for some wonderful candid wedding photographs.
