While my primary focus is landscape photography, I have years of experience in wedding photography and still take on select weddings under certain circumstances. My Style – Reportage with a Personal Touch
My approach to wedding photography is predominantly reportage, sometimes referred to as documentary or candid photography. I believe the best moments are often the unscripted ones—the shared glances, quiet smiles, and fleeting emotions that make your wedding unique. By blending into the background, I can capture these genuine moments without disrupting the flow of the day.
However, I also appreciate the importance of traditional elements, particularly family groupings. While I prefer to keep staged photos to a minimum, I ensure that you get the classic family and bridal party portraits that are essential for your wedding album.
Why I Only Take on Select Weddings
Having stepped away from wedding photography as a full-time pursuit, I now focus on landscape work. However, I still offer wedding photography for couples planning intimate and relaxed weddings in South Devon. Whether you’re getting married on the coast, in the countryside, or at a historic venue in Totnes, Dartmouth, or Salcombe, I can provide a professional yet personal approach to capturing your day.
